Job description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform periodic cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
  • Responsible for checking off takes daily to ensure the area was cleaned and the building was completed.
  • Mix water and detergents in containers according to product specifications to prevent damage to floors, fixtures, or furniture, and dispense chemicals in bottles with correct labels.
  • Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
  • Gathers and empties trash, including trash cans, near the exterior main entrances.
  • Services, supplies, and cleaning restrooms
  • Cleans and polishes furniture, drinking fountains, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning products and sponges
  • Dusting of office furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Spot clean or shampoo carpets; strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
  • Drives vehicles (vans) for travel to various work sites.
  • You may have to move equipment and supplies manually or using a hand truck.
  • Notifies the lead or manager of any major equipment repairs or additions needed in custodial services.
  • Informs lead or manager of supplies and equipment required for cleaning or maintenance duties.
  • Wash, dry, and fold rags and towels โ€“ all team members are responsible
  • Represents the Company at all times with professionalism & a commitment to quality.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Specification:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of related janitorial experience preferred
  • Contract requires U.S. Citizenship or lawful permanent residence; must have valid social security card
  • Contract required ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
  • Must have a valid and unrestricted driverโ€™s license
  • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and reach repetitively
  • Must have sufficient endurance to perform tasks over long periods
  • Must be able to lift to 25 lbs. regularly.
  • Hourly Rate $18.47
  • Hours:ย  Monday-Friday 4:30 PM-1:00 AM
