Job description

Position Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall project direction, completion, and financial outcome for assigned projects. With guidance from the Branch Manager, this role will manage projects on a day-to-day basis, assessing all risks and project change requests to produce the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost for successful project completion.
Job Duties
  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects including client relationships, scope, cost, and schedule and job efficiency from start to finish.
  • Be the focal point of all client communications.
  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with clients to sustain existing and create future revenue streams.
  • Know the plans, specifications, and contractual requirements for all assigned projects.
  • Make sure safety is the team's priority and promote quality in workmanship.
  • Assist in contract review for all assigned projects.
  • Identify, clarify, and document changes from initial project objectives and scope of work to support the change management process.
  • Prepare, review, and submit in a timely fashion all payment requisitions, equipment submittals, change requests, and closeout documentation as per project requirements.
  • Partners with Purchasing Manager to negotiate purchase orders with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Attend all job-related meetings.
  • Update project status in the company's ERP system on a regular basis and ensure that project financials reported to accounting are accurate.
  • Responsible for keeping all deadlines, deliverables, budgeting, and open lines of communication throughout the organization.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Electrical Engineering, Construction Management preferred.
  • 5-8 years experience preferred.
  • Prior construction experience a plus.
