You are a person who loves to lead complex healthcare programs, align cross-functional teams, and drive successful implementation through structured planning and execution. We need someone who is highly organized, strategic, and experienced in managing large-scale program initiatives, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.

In the role of Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing program execution across multiple initiatives, developing and maintaining project management plans, coordinating with VA and OIT stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery through performance monitoring, risk management, and structured reporting.

About The Position

  • Provide overall program oversight and coordination across Community Care Network Next Generation, Veteran Family Member Programs, and Payer EDI initiatives, ensuring alignment of schedules, testing readiness, and implementation activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and update the Contractor Project Management Plan (CPMP), including project schedules, milestones, risks, and resource planning.
  • Lead program execution activities, including planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out projects supporting healthcare system modernization.
  • Coordinate across VA stakeholders and OIT teams to manage requirements tracking, schedule updates, and implementation dependencies.
  • Monitor program performance using metrics, risk tracking, and issue escalation processes, ensuring alignment to program goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in healthcare payer program management.
  • A master's degree and experience relevant to the listed responsibilities including planning, initiating, managing, executing and closing out programs in support of an integrated Health Care System.
  • A current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • A minimum of six years' experience supporting a large corporation or government agency.
