Job description

Hadrian - Manufacturing the Future

Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America. By combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost.

Following our $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, Hadrian is rapidly expanding our manufacturing footprint, launching new capabilities across welding, casting, forging, electronics, additive manufacturing, and more, while scaling our Factory-as-a-Service platform to transform how critical products are built.

Backed by leading investors including JPMorgan Chase, Valor Equity Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, 137 Ventures, Lux Capital, T. Rowe Price, and Morgan Stanley, we’re building the future of American manufacturing—and looking for exceptional people to help make it happen.

If you’re ready to take on the most challenging and rewarding work of your career while helping create American manufacturing jobs for generations to come, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

About the Role
· Support the identification and prospect of new federal business opportunities with the government or as a subcontractor to major defense and aerospace companies

· Build and maintain relationships with staff and decision-makers within these organizations

· Support the Director’s successful execution of the Federal team’s strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets

· Provide direct support and subject matter expertise to the Federal contracts team on proposal development and coordinate with program and engineering teams as needed to produce winning technical and pricing proposals

· Work collaboratively with our supply chain team to provide the best possible service and support to the clients

· Provide regular updates to Director of the status of sales activities, opportunities, and progress towards targets

· Create value-add solutions, helping to support Hadrian leadership’s success in demonstrating our capabilities through remote and in-person meetings

· Lead the customer onboarding process

· Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including changes in technology, competition, and customer needs

· Maintain keen knowledge of the status of military service budgets and overall President’s Budget progress relative to the availability of future and currently appropriated federal funds to Hadrian

What We're Looking For:

· 5-7+ years of experience in defense/aerospace/maritime industries, either in industry supporting government programs or in a government role; working knowledge of procurement, manufacturing environments, and relevant regulations and policies (e.g., FAR, DFARS, ITAR, Defense Acquisition Pathways, OTAs, etc.)

· Ability to develop deal strategy and contract positioning for defense/federal customers, identify account growth opportunities, and communicate customer feedback and market insights to internal stakeholders

· Ability to manage multiple concurrent accounts and competing deadlines; experience collaborating across cross-functional teams; high attention to detail in proposals, contracts, and customer communications

· Experience contributing to drafting RFPs/RFIs or industry responses and independently authoring white papers, capability briefs, or similar materials; ability to interpret customer requirements and conduct independent research to address knowledge gaps

· Track record managing complex sales cycles from initial contact through close with DoW, defense primes, or federal government customers; experience handling objections and tailoring solutions to customer requirements

· Experience in a fast-paced environment with dynamic workloads; ability to navigate through uncertainty and adjust strategies quickly in response to customer feedback or shifting priorities

· Ability to build relationships across technical and non-technical stakeholders; experience distilling complex concepts into clear, persuasive communications and translating customer needs into product solutions

What Will Set You Apart:

· Conversant in U.S. military acquisition programs, federal budgeting process, and warfighting needs.

· Skilled in using data and creating dashboards to track, understand, and predict customer behavior.

· Familiarity with data analysis methods and independently producing recommendations and info papers with documented analysis for decision makers.

· Skilled and clear communicator able to create and share recommendations, succinct summaries, and metrics with team.

· A demonstrated penchant for curiosity and motivation in making material improvements in the US defense industrial base.

Compensation:

For this role, the target salary range is $160,000 - $225,000 (actual range may vary based on experience).

This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

  • Flexible vacation policy

  • Equity
