Senior Java Engineer - Local to Pittsburgh, PA

Position Description:
This role must be filled 5 days per week in the client site, located in Pittsburgh PA.
Seeking a Senior Software Developer with 6-8 years of experience designing and developing enterprise applications using Java and modern microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building scalable, API driven applications, working with distributed systems, and supporting CI/CD pipelines in an Agile environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications.
. Build and support Java based microservices and REST APIs.
. Develop scalable, event driven solutions using Kafka.
. Collaborate with architects and cross functional teams on technical design and implementation.
. Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.
. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
. Create and maintain technical documentation.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 6-8 years of Java/J2EE development experience
. Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA
. Microservices Architecture
. REST API development
. Distributed Systems
. Kafka or other event driven messaging platforms
. Jenkins, CI/CD, Git, Maven
. Oracle, SQL Server, and/or MySQL
. Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Preferred Skills:

Ideal Candidate:
Strong senior Java developer with experience building enterprise scale microservices, APIs, and distributed applications. Comfortable working across the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $896,000.00 $198,400.00.
