Job description

Role: Lead Full Stack Java Developer
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Rate: $70/hour W2
Schedule: Hybrid (3-4 days onsite)
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to design, build, and maintain a suite of internal security and IAM applications. This role requires a strong full stack engineer who can work across frontend, backend, and cloud environments while also contributing to architecture and mentoring junior developers.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications (Angular frontend, Java/Spring Boot backend)
  • Support multiple security-focused applications and internal portals
  • Build and integrate REST APIs
  • Contribute to cloud-based development and migration efforts (AWS)
  • Work with MySQL and MongoDB databases (MySQL is primary)
  • Ensure applications follow secure development best practices
  • Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and engineering teams
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Participate in architecture and design decisions
  • Support production troubleshooting and ongoing enhancements

Required Skills
  • Strong full stack experience:
    • Angular (v20+)
    • Java 17, Spring Boot
    • Node.js
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, including:
    • Lambda
