Job Title: CDL Class A Service Truck Driver (Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements)

Location: Fort Worth, TX (and surrounding DFW metroplex)

Position Type: Full-Time Pay: $20-$25 hr 50+ hrs a week Salary based on experience

We are seeking an experienced, safety-minded CDL Class A Service Truck Driver with active Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements (or an X endorsement) to join our clients team in Fort Worth. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently loading, transporting, and unloading bulk liquid products and hazardous materials while also servicing heavy construction equipment in the DFW Metroplex.


Key Responsibilities

• Safe Transport: Operate a Class A Service Truck to transport liquid hazardous materials in strict compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA safety regulations.

• Loading & Unloading: Safely operate product pumps, compressors, and specialized hoses to load and unload liquid materials, monitoring gauges for correct pressure and volume.

• Service: Ensure heavy equipment on jobsite is adequately fueled and lubed.

• Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting mechanical defects or safety concerns to service manager immediately.

• Compliance & Logs: Maintain specific logs provided by the service coordinator to ensure DOT compliance.

• Route Navigation: Follow the daily route plan given by the service coordinator and adapt to any updates or changes communicated throughout the day.


Qualifications & Requirements

• License: Active Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued in Texas.

• Endorsements: Current Federal Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements (or combined X endorsement).

• Clearance: Active TSA Hazardous Materials Endorsement background check.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience; 1 year of liquid bulk tanker hauling experience and equipment service is highly preferred.

• Driving Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations or preventable accidents within the past 3 years.

• Physical Fitness: Ability to pass a DOT physical examination, pre-employment drug screen, pull heavy hoses (up to 50 lbs) during product transfer and step up and down off heavy equipment.
