Data Analyst (Federal Program Support)
Location: Onsite, - New Orleans, LA
Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizen Required
Security Clearance: Must have a Public Trust Clearance
Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Data Analyst to support a federal government program . The selected candidate will provide data analysis, records management, reporting, documentation, and project coordination support to ensure effective program operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and manage program databases, datasets, and tracking systems.
Collect, extract, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews of program data.
Develop reports, dashboards, metrics, executive summaries, and status updates for leadership.
Create charts, graphs, visualizations, and presentation materials to support program reporting.
Coordinate with records management teams to identify and resolve documentation and compliance issues.
Maintain records management tracking tools, spreadsheets, and related documentation.
Monitor adherence to federal records management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Track program assignments, milestones, reviews, deliverables, and action items.
Monitor completion of field site visits and associated documentation.
Coordinate follow-up activities and communicate status updates with program stakeholders.
Attend meetings, capture meeting notes, and distribute meeting minutes.
Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Organize and maintain program files, documentation repositories, and shared resources.
Draft, edit, format, and finalize reports, presentations, and other program deliverables.
Work independently and collaboratively with geographically dispersed teams to support mission objectives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Management, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
Experience organizing, managing, and analyzing large datasets and computer-generated reports.
Ability to develop reports, dashboards, summaries, and tracking documentation.
Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting federal government programs or contracts.
SharePoint administration or support experience.
Records management experience.
Project coordination or project management support experience.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, reporting, and data analysis.
