Position summary

Sikich is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst. This role is contingent upon award of contract.
What will you do in this role?

  • Provide financial analytical support for federal programs and initiatives
  • Integrate business, cost estimating, and financial management processes
  • Develop strategic financial plans and cost estimates
  • Translate funding requirements into executable budgets
  • Assess procedures for compliance with government regulations and accounting principles
  • Support multi-tiered financial system applications and standards
  • Experience with activity-based costing, business case analysis, and outsourcing requirements preferred
  • Support transaction processing, research, tracking, and documentation
  • Assist with client workflows to ensure efficient and accurate operations
  • Perform reconciliations and compliance-focused reviews
  • Organize and validate financial data
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Support day-to-day financial operations and reporting activities

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • On-site in Washington, DC daily
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience supporting federal financial management processes
  • Federal employee or federal contractor experience preferred
  • Strong communication and software application skills
  • Knowledge of federal financial processes, systems, and internal controls preferred

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $86,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
