Armed Security Officer Founded in 1999, Global Security Services is full service private security, investigation and electronic security agency. Global Security Services' provides expertise in consulting, physical security and protective services, investigation, electronic security and support of the total physical and electronic security environment. We are seeking Armed Security Officers to help provide armed uniformed security to businesses and various State and Federal agencies. Qualification Requirements Armed Security Officers must be proportionate in height and weight Must be 21 years of age Must be clean shaven and neatly groomed at all times No tattoos on hands, fingers, neck or face permitted Must have valid Driver's License Must have reliable transportation Must be able to work in Rock Island, Illinois Must have a PERC or be able to obtain one Must have a FOID or be able to obtain one No criminal history/background Must be available to work weekends and weekdays Hiring for all shifts. Responsibilities of Armed Security Officers Armed Security Officers will provide a general deterrence against the commission of wrongful acts attempted or committed against our client's employees, visitors, guests, or their property. Provide directions and informational assistance to employees, visitors and guests. Aid in the discovery of security violations and early reporting of emergencies. Detain miscreants when lawful and appropriate. Conduct roving patrol of facilities, grounds, parking lots, garages, out buildings and other functions outlined in written instructions. Prepare written reports detailing security related activity on appropriate forms. We provide all of your uniforms (2 pair) duty equipment and weapons to include OC, baton, Taser, and Glock 22. You provide t-shirt and duty boots. We provide paid vacation after 1 year of service.
