The Encinitas Union School District is seeking applicants for a temporary Behavior Specialist Assistant position through February 2027. The Behavior Specialist Assistant is under the guidance of the District's Behavioral Specialists and supports students exhibiting behavioral challenges within the school setting; helps with data collection and analysis; consults with the student's educational team, and assists with training staff. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience with students with special needs, particularly students with Autism and/or significant behavioral challenges, and successful knowledge of and experience with different methods of data collection. Please review the job description for additional information.
Work Schedule: 32.5 Hours Per Week; Monday through Friday
Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, CalPERS Retirement
Salary placement dependent upon experience; up to 6 years of work experience in the same or comparable classification is taken into consideration for salary placement.
