Chief Legal Officer – Life Sciences

Who: A seasoned Chief Legal Officer with 20+ years of legal experience, including a strong background in the life sciences sector.

What: You will lead all legal affairs and serve as a key strategic advisor to the executive team, overseeing compliance, risk, contracts, and regulatory matters.

Position Overview:

As Chief Legal Officer, you will be the senior-most legal authority, responsible for overseeing all legal matters, ensuring regulatory compliance, and serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead corporate legal strategy and provide counsel on all legal and compliance issues.
  • Oversee regulatory matters, including FDA compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Manage internal legal operations and external counsel relationships.
  • Advise on M&A, corporate governance, IP protection, and commercial contracts.
  • Implement best practices to align legal strategy with overall business goals.

Qualifications:
  • JD (Juris Doctor) and active bar membership required.
  • 20+ years of progressive legal experience, including leadership roles in the life sciences industry.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
