Patrol Security Officer

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Patrol Security Officer! Ready to suit up as a security guard in a foot patrol post? As a Security Officer – Patrol, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

  • Set schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Days TBD.

Responsibilities of a Patrol Security Guard:

  • Conduct regular foot patrols of assigned areas to maintain security and deter unauthorized activity.
  • Perform security scans and inspections of buildings, entrances, exits, and perimeter grounds.
  • Monitor for safety hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations, reporting concerns immediately.
  • Complete detailed daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation with accuracy.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations following established procedures.
  • Verify doors, gates, windows, and restricted areas were properly secured during patrol rounds.

Qualifications for Patrol Security Guard:

  • Must be comfortable walking long distances
  • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • 1-2 years of security experience preferred.
  • Customer service and/or concierge experience is a plus!
  • Be able to provide documentation of high school diploma or GED
  • Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
  • If you have security, military, law enforcement experience – even better!
  • You have a state license if required
