Position Summary

The Charter Operations Representative position is committed to proactively developing and maintaining a client base for the purpose of expanding overall charter sales activities. They provide clients with accurate and timely information while multi-tasking in a team environment with minimum supervision. 


This role requires a flexible schedule, including weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday). The position will follow a 4 day, 10 hour shift schedule with afternoon/evening hours. Initial training and onboarding will take place during standard business hours. 


The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this non-exempt position, will be as follows: $28.85-$36.06 hourly, equivalent to $60,000 - $75,000 annually.

Minimum Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience using MS Office, including but not limited to WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, and OUTLOOK
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands on experience in the aviation industry, preferably in a scheduling or operations role.
  • Proficiency in either charter scheduling or FBO (Fixed Base Operation) scheduling, depending on previous role within organization
  • Must demonstrate determination and resilience in handling challenging situations and unexpected changes that can occur in the fast-paced aviation industry.
  • The ability to persevere and find solution under presume is a crucial attribute for success in this role
  • Must possess strong multitasking skills to handle various tasks simultaneously
  • May be required to be over age 18 and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Minimum of high school or trade school diploma
Main Responsibilities
  • Supports sales representatives and channel partners in administrative areas such as order processing, customer quotes, sales information management, product training, and financing
  • Responsibilities are within the Sales Support and Administration function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines
  • Answers inbound customer calls regarding product and service information, and identifies upselling opportunities from such calls
  • Accepts orders, closes sales, maintains customer records, and completes required documentation
  • Identifies and qualifies prospective customers, and records sales prospecting activity in computer-based tracking systems
  • May have an assigned product line that may overlap other sales teams' territories
  • May have an individual or team sales quota and is likely to have a target earnings bonus or sales incentive opportunity
  • Represents Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network
