Job description

POSITION: RN or LPN Floater
RATE: Based on Collective Bargaining Agreement
REPORTS TO: Principal and/or K-12 Health Services and Community Coordinator
JOB GOAL: The LPN/RN is employed to function under the direction of the Certified School Nurse (CSN) to implement assigned and delegated duties of the school health program. This may include screenings, record keeping and/or treating ill or injured students and staff.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have and keep current a Pennsylvania professional nursing license.
  • Must have and maintain a current CPR & AED certification.
  • The following background clearances are required: Act 151, Act 34, Act 24, and IdentoGO FBI clearance.
  • Experience working with children preferred, but not required.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
