Job Summary

The FBA Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily Amazon FBA and fulfillment operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant order processing and shipment execution. This role manages staffing, workflow prioritization, carrier coordination, inventory movement, and operational performance within a fast-paced distribution environment. The supervisor partners closely with warehouse leadership, customer service, IT, finance, and sales teams to maintain service levels, improve operational efficiency, reduce chargebacks, and support Amazon compliance standards.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Fulfillment & Warehouse Operations

· Oversee daily Amazon FBA and e-commerce fulfillment operations, ensuring orders are processed, packed, loaded, and shipped accurately and on schedule.

· Monitor daily order volume and staffing levels to support operational demands and productivity goals.

· Ensure all orders are prioritized based on:

o Amazon shipping requirements

o Expedited orders

o FIFO (First In, First Out)

o Required ship dates

o Customer compliance standards

· Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet Amazon routing, labeling, palletizing, and compliance requirements.

· Monitor workflow to ensure orders are closed and invoiced in a timely manner.

· Support warehouse productivity, quality control, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency initiatives.

· Assist with troubleshooting operational delays, shipping issues, and fulfillment exceptions.

Amazon FBA & Compliance

· Work closely with operations teams to ensure FBA shipments are prepared according to Amazon standards and delivery timelines.

· Investigate FBA shortages, shipment discrepancies, and compliance issues while providing supporting documentation for reimbursement claims.

· Review customer and Amazon chargebacks and coordinate corrective action plans to reduce future occurrences.

· Track operational KPIs including:

o Order accuracy

o On-time shipping

o Productivity

o Chargebacks

o Shortage claims

o SLA compliance

· Ensure SOPs and operational procedures remain current and compliant with Amazon and customer requirements.



Staffing & Leadership

· Supervise daily workflow and team performance within fulfillment operations.

· Recruit, interview, train, and develop warehouse and fulfillment staff.

· Schedule labor according to forecasted order volume and operational needs.

· Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members.

· Promote a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

· Assist with audits, inventory reviews, and operational reporting as needed.

Communication & Carrier Coordination

· Coordinate with parcel carriers and freight partners to ensure timely pickups and adequate capacity during peak volume periods.

· Communicate operational updates, risks, delays, and recommendations to leadership, sales, IT, finance, and customer service teams.

· Collaborate cross-functionally to improve operational processes and customer satisfaction.
