Job description

Ministry Title: Campus Coordinator

Campus: Fayette County
Division: Campus

Department: Ministry and Discipleship

Reports To: Campus Pastor

Hours: Full-Time


This role comes with the expectation for the staff person to work in the community throughout the week. This is not a Work from Home role.


Purpose of Position:

The Campus Coordinator oversees the areas of Guest Experience and Campus Administration in order to ensure clear systems, compelling environments and careful stewardship of the people and resources of the Fayette County Campus. This includes full oversight of the Guest Experience Team, Move Track Team, and the secure handling and reporting of Campus financial contributions.


Experience & Education Required:

  • Ability to develop and grow a large team of volunteers.
  • Ability to maintain accurate systems and records of financial contributions.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/ministries effectively.
  • Ability to learn/use G-Suite Apps such as docs, sheets and slides.
  • Ability to learn/use Planning Center Online (PCO) church database software.
  • Ability to learn/use BaseCamp 3 Project Management Software.

Guest Experience Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that every attendee of GO Church is being KNOWN, CARED FOR and INVITED TO A NEXT STEP through an intentional Guest Experience.
  • Oversee the recruitment, assimilation, scheduling, training and ongoing development of Guest Experience Team Members (volunteers).
  • Ensure an effective inventory management system for Guest Experience Supplies.
  • Stewardship of all assigned budgets.
  • Ensure a layered leadership structure within the Guest Experience Team.
  • Ensure the follow-up of all new family submissions.
  • Ensure that serving on the Guest Experience Team is enjoyable.
  • Provide any necessary personal care for Guest Experience Team Members.
  • Ensure that all attendees, as well as all Guest Experience Team Members, do not feel like "outsiders".
  • Record and/or report all necessary figures into the Ministry Dashboard.


Campus Administration Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the secure counting of weekly funds through the counting committee.
  • Accurately input and manage batch giving and financial data entry of all counted funds in PCO Giving for the Fayette County Campus.
  • Prepare all deposits for the Fayette County Campus.
  • Assist with year-end giving statements and reconciling for the Fayette County Campus.


Move Track:

  • Oversee the Budget and Inventory management of Move Track Supplies.
  • Oversee the PCO systems and protocols related to Move Track.
  • Ensure effective promotion and follow-up communication related to Move Track.
  • Oversee recruitment, scheduling, training and ongoing development of Move Track Team.
  • Assist with teaching Move Track when necessary.


Groups:

  • Oversee the Budget and Inventory management of Groups.
  • Oversee the PCO systems and protocols related to the Groups Team.
  • Ensure effective promotion, planning and follow-up communication of Group Leader Meetings and Groups Semester Launches.
  • Oversee recruitment, scheduling, training and ongoing development of Groups Team.


Baptism:

  • Oversee the communication and administration of Water Baptism & Pre-Baptism Class.
  • Oversee the Budget and Inventory management of Baptism supplies.


Other Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Record and/or report all necessary figures into the Metrics Dashboard.
  • Participate in various Meetings, Conferences, Funerals and Weddings.
  • Participate in various strategic planning or ad-hoc meetings.
  • Participate in various Big Events/Conferences.
  • Execute any additional items as assigned.


Personal Responsibilities:

  • Invest and invite unchurched people to know Jesus and come to church.
  • Financially support the mission and vision of the church by faithfully giving at least 10% of your gross income. Maintain wise stewardship measures over the remaining 90%.
  • Be punctual to all Gatherings, Conferences and Meetings.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
  • Read and sign all HR Documents.
