Job description

Job Title: Dough Feeder
Job Summary

The Dough Feeder / Production Operator is responsible for supporting continuous dough processing operations by feeding dough into production lines, monitoring dough quality, and operating key production equipment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product consistency, food safety, and operational efficiency in a food manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve dough from the fermentation room for pre proofed product or from the mixing room for unproofed product

  • Feed dough into the Rheon line at a constant and continuous flow and density

  • Load dough onto the Action Roller

  • Supply flour to the Floor Sifter and fat to the Fat Pump

  • Retrieve and manage dough trimmings from the Action Roller

  • Become proficient in operating the Action Roller, Fat Pump, and Roll In Conveyor

  • Monitor and manage dough temperature, thickness, density, ingredients, and overall quality throughout production

  • Maintain continuous production flow while meeting quality standards

  • Must be comfortable lifting regularly 55 lbs of butter and lift 30 lb sheet pans of dough continuously.


Food Safety & Compliance
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils

  • Follow all SQF, FSMA, HACCP/HARPC, cGMP, and OSHA requirements as they apply to food manufacturing

  • Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations

  • Adhere to company policies related to food safety, quality, personnel hygiene, and allergen control

  • Learn and support additional food safety and quality programs as required


Qualifications
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or production preferred but not required

  • Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment

  • Strong attention to detail and product quality

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Dependable attendance and punctuality

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs as required

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation

Pay Details: $19.20 to $20.20 per hour
