Packer Fastener is seeking a full-time, Branch Support team member to join us at our Wausau Branch!
The Branch Support role is responsible for providing support to the branch based on the needs and guidance of the Branch Manager. These responsibilities will support the development and accomplishment of Packer's Strategy and Vision while promoting our company Swagger.

Primary Duties:
  • Support the sales team and assist with customer inquiries
  • Manage and expedite blanket orders for priority accounts
  • Monitor open orders to ensure on-time delivery
  • Communicate with vendors for order status, lead times, and discrepancies
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and inside sales teams
  • Provide updates and solutions to priority accounts

Operations Support:
  • Assist with order fulfillment, receiving, shipping, and inventory
  • Perform local deliveries using a company vehicle
  • Service customers on-site, including bin stock and vending machines
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications
  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Exhibits company Swagger.
  • Highly motivated, handle multiple priorities with high attention to detail, and strong time management skills.
  • Knowledge of product lines and pricing structure.
  • Ability to think critically and solve practical problems.
  • Basic math skills with the ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to lift, slide, and lower packages that typically weighs 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs.
  • Proficient in common computer software including Microsoft Office and database software.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to obtain coverage through company's auto insurance carrier according to company Driver Safety Policy.
