Job description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Industrial Exterior Metal Stud Framers for projects located in or around Baldwin, NC. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $32/hour plus $40/day and hotel. If you are a Metal Stud Framer and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:    

  • Framing & Installation: Layout, measure, cut, and install heavy-gauge exterior metal stud framing members and tracks
  • Sheathing: Securely fasten plywood sheathing to metal studs for exterior wall assembly
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate a cherry picker, boom lift, and other aerial lifts to access 34 ft–36 ft work areas
  • Fastening: Utilize a Hilti .22 caliber powder-actuated tool to fasten materials to steel or concrete structures
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA and site-specific safety regulations, including 100% tie-off and proper use of fall protection systems.

Requirements:

  • Must be certified/trained in aerial lift and cherry picker operation
  • Must have fall protection certification
  • Must have Hilti .22 caliber powder-actuated tool operator certification
