What is a fast track adjuster?

A Fast Track Adjuster is an insurance claims professional who handles low-complexity or high-volume claims quickly and efficiently. They typically work on straightforward cases such as minor auto accidents, small property damage claims, or simple liability issues. Their primary focus is to assess damages, determine coverage, negotiate settlements, and process claims rapidly to ensure a smooth customer experience. Fast Track Adjusters often work in call centers or remotely and rely on digital tools to expedite claim resolutions. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

What is a typical workday like for a fast track adjuster?

A typical day for a Fast Track Adjuster involves reviewing and processing a large volume of low-complexity insurance claims, such as auto, property, or small liability cases. You will spend time evaluating documentation, conducting phone interviews with claimants, negotiating settlements, and entering data into claims management systems. The role is often fast-paced and involves strong collaboration with policyholders, other adjusters, and sometimes vendors or repair specialists to quickly resolve cases. You'll balance independent decision-making with teamwork and ongoing communication to ensure efficient claims handling and positive customer experiences.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the fast track adjuster position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Fast Track Adjuster, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of insurance policies, often supported by a relevant degree or claims adjusting license. Familiarity with claims management software, document processing systems, and in some cases industry certifications such as AIC or CPCU, is typically required. Excellent communication, time management, and customer service abilities help set top performers apart. These skills are vital for efficiently resolving straightforward claims, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining regulatory compliance in a high-volume environment.

Are claims adjusters in high demand?

Claims adjusters, including those in the fast track or specialized roles, are in high demand due to the ongoing need for insurance claims processing and damage assessment. The profession often requires strong analytical skills and knowledge of insurance policies, with job growth expected to remain steady as insurance companies seek qualified professionals to handle claims efficiently.

Supplied Talent

Atlanta, GA • On-site

Job description

About Us

Blackridge Restoration is a full-service water, fire, storm, and mold restoration company serving Alpharetta and the Greater Atlanta area, with 60+ years of combined experience. We lead with empathy, move fast, and don't leave until the job is done right. As we grow, we're looking for a Sales Representative who knows the restoration industry and can build the relationships that keep our pipeline strong.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and manage relationships with referral sources: insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, plumbers, facilities managers, and commercial property owners across metro Atlanta.
  • Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, and consistent follow-up.
  • Represent Blackridge at industry associations, networking events, and community functions.
  • Educate prospects on our water, fire, storm, mold, and commercial restoration services.
  • Respond to inbound leads quickly and convert them into scheduled work.
  • Partner with project managers and field crews to ensure a smooth hand-off and a great client experience.
  • Track activity, pipeline, and results in CRM.
What You Bring
  • Prior restoration industry experience is required — you understand mitigation, remediation, reconstruction, and how insurance claims work in this space.
  • Proven B2B sales or business development track record, ideally with insurance and property-management referral channels.
  • Existing relationships within the Atlanta restoration, insurance, or property-management community are a strong plus.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working a territory independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine, empathy-first approach to clients in stressful situations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Familiarity with IICRC standards and Xactimate is a plus.
