As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a crucial role in conducting specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies, and electrophysiology studies. You will collaborate with the intra-procedure team to ensure safe patient care and participate in Universal Protocol and site marking identification. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining and calibrating equipment, ensuring patient comfort, and improving work processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology studies
  • Serve as a lead worker and resource to medical and clinical staff
  • Collaborate with intra-procedure team for safe patient care
  • Assist with patient and room preparation for procedures
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment, troubleshooting as needed
  • Stay updated on advancements in cardiovascular technology
  • Adhere to applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines
Requirements for this role include:
  • Need 1 year experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases
  • ARRT or RCIS certification
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • State of TX Medical Radiologic License
  • Experience in a critical care setting (preferred)
  • Previous travel experience (highly preferred)
