Position Overview
The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the restaurant, including sales growth, profitability, guest satisfaction, operational execution, and team development. Key Responsibilities
Restaurant Operations
- Lead all day-to-day restaurant operations
- Ensure consistent execution of brand standards, food quality, and guest service expectations
- Maintain compliance with all safety, sanitation, and operational procedures
- Drive operational excellence through coaching, accountability, and execution
Financial Performance
- Maintain full P&L responsibility for the restaurant
- Drive sales growth and profitability
- Manage labor costs, food costs, and controllable expenses
- Analyze restaurant performance metrics and implement action plans
- Utilize data to improve operational and financial results
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, train, develop, and retain high-performing team members
- Build leadership pipelines and succession plans
- Conduct performance evaluations and coaching conversations
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
Guest Experience
- Ensure exceptional guest service and hospitality standards
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements
- Lead initiatives that drive guest satisfaction and loyalty
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume environment
- General Manager experience preferred
- Strong understanding of restaurant financials and operational metrics
- Experience managing labor, food costs, and inventory controls
