Job description

The Director of Global Marketing & Product Education role manages the strategy for how our products are positioned, taught, experienced, and brought to life, both internally and externally to the public, our customers and our internal network of independent Distributors. This role partners closely with the Product Development, Marketing, E-Comm, Field Development and Legal/Compliance teams to translate complex product knowledge into high-impact, social-first, conversion-driven content and education across platforms and audiences.

The goal of this role is to make product positioning and education compelling, scalable, culturally relevant, and optimized for modern buying behaviors. The ideal candidate blends deep skincare and cosmetics expertise with a strong point of view on content creation, social media, digital learning, and storytelling that drives product adoption and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the global product positioning and education strategy for new launches, core products, seasonal and limited-edition offerings-aligning education with launch and revenue goals.
  • Empower and inspire our global Distributors by designing and hosting dynamic live and on-demand training(both virtual and in-person) specifically tailored to each audience.
  • Support integration of a social-first content into skincare education by translating complex product knowledge into highly engaging, conversion-driven materials across various digital platforms.
  • Create or coordinate with guests on the creation of specific social-first educational materials, including Reels, TikTok-style formats, Shorts, Stories, and blog posts, alongside short- and long-form videos tailored for social media.
  • Ensure that all product content remains relevant, native to the platform it lives on, and optimized for maximum shareability, engagement, and conversion.
  • Partner closely with the Social, Creative, and Communications teams to continuously evolve educational formats, storytelling, and messaging based on audience behavior. Work with Ecommerce to weave educational storytelling into social sites and web channels.
  • Support Product Marketing and R&D in the development and renovation of products, contributing insights that can influence claims, positioning, and consumer understanding.
  • Establish a system for continuous optimization of product education programs using performance metrics, sales feedback, engagement data, and market trends.
  • Identify skill gaps and education opportunities to elevate sales force performance through modern learning experiences and content, specifically in our certification programs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on the go-to-market toolkit assets that seamlessly integrate education, storytelling, and sales enablement.
  • Partner with Legal/Compliance for regular adherence to approved product claims, industry appropriate positioning and safe, duplicatable language.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Experience in product education, product marketing, brand marketing, or sales enablement, preferably within beauty, skincare, cosmetics, wellness, or consumer packaged goods. Experience in direct sales a plus.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and on-camera skills, with experience leading live, virtual, and recorded trainings.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative point of view and a strong understanding of consumer behavior, cultural trends, and the modern path to purchase.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities globally.
  • Comfortable operating in ahigh-growth, change-oriented environment, balancing speed, creativity, and precision.
  • Demonstrated expertise in content creation for social and digital platforms, including short-form video, long-form video, live streaming, and educational storytelling.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and formats (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, emerging platforms), including best practices, trends, and performance drivers.
  • Experience developing conversion-focused educational content for ecommerce, including PDP optimization, social commerce, and customer education journeys.
  • Strong command of modern content tools and workflows, including video editing, content management systems, marketing &learning platforms(Canva, Boards, social media groups, etc.), and collaboration tools (hands-on experience strongly preferred).
  • Data mindset with experience using analytics and performance metrics to optimize content, education programs, and sales outcomes.
  • Ability to translate complex product, ingredient, and claims information into clear, compelling, and compliant messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Experience partnering with Marketing, Sales, Ecommerce, R&D, Legal, and Creative teams in fast-paced environments.
