We are committed to delivering excellence and are currently seeking a skilled Combo Aluminum TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team.

As a Welder at Environmental Air Systems, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication process, contributing to the production of cutting-edge environmental control systems. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in TIG welding techniques, with a focus on aluminum materials. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing welds that meet the highest quality standards.

Schedule:6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary

Responsibilities:

  • Aluminum Welding - Perform TIG welding on aluminum components according to engineering specifications and blueprints.

  • Fabrication - Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure accurate assembly and welding of aluminum parts for environmental control systems.

  • Quality Assurance - Conduct thorough inspections of welded components to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.

  • Safety Compliance - Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment. Report any safety concerns or issues promptly.

  • Equipment Maintenance - Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

  • Collaboration - Work closely with other team members, including engineers and fabricators, to achieve project goals and timelines.

  • Problem Solving - Identify and address any issues related to welding processes, materials, or equipment, proposing solutions to improve efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Welding Expertise - Proven experience in TIG welding, with a focus on aluminum materials. Certification in welding is highly desirable.

  • Blueprint Reading - Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
