Account Executive, Fashion

BPCM is looking for anAccount Executivefor our Fashion PR Team with a proven trackrecord of planning and implementing marketing strategies developed with clients to support the promotion of their product or brand to a desired target audience. Ideal candidates will havea3- 5 years of previous experience working withluxuryFashion, Consumer/Lifestyle and/or Retail brands at a public relations agency.The candidate for this role must possessstrongmedia contacts across fashion, lifestyle, trade and business publications as well asexcellent stylist and talent contactsand,familiarity with fashion influencers/blogger. The candidate must haves, strong editor and media relations,strong written communication and client interaction skills, in-depth knowledge of the fashion industry and trends,andshould be well organized and great at multitasking.

This role is based in our Brooklyn, NY office on a hybrid basis. This role is required to be in office 3 days per week.

The Account Executive Responsibilities will be(but are not limited to):

  • Serve as a primary client contact with the proven ability to manage and drive multiple client account programs and teams delivering strategic value
  • Securing strategic press coverage (features as well as product placements) in national and key regional TV andonline publications.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with fashion directors, key fashion editors and relevant fashion stylists and bloggers.
  • Plan, develop and advise clients on integrated and measurable PRinitiativesstrategies.
  • Ensurethat key milestonesand projects are on track and on budget
  • Secure product placement and dressing for celebrity press appearances, upcoming movies, festivals, red carpet events and more
  • Generating creative ideas and solutions to everyday problems and challenges
  • Pro-actively pitch and secure maximum editorial opportunities. Maintain press interest in existing products, create 'buzz' around new launches and generate media stories in support of VIP placements
  • Pro-active press interaction; nurture and develop strategic relationships with editors across all channels via regular communication
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key fashion influencers, fashion stylists, bloggers, VIPs, managers, publicists and agents
  • Ensuring that client and stylist's requests are fulfilled, delivered on time and are value-producing
  • Manage all aspects of specialty events from guest list creation, client management, budget, VIP outreach and press coverage
  • Writing press releases, assisting budget management, managing events, including supporting guest creation, RSVPs, media alerts.
  • Working with the Senior Account Executive and Account Supervisor to manage all client timelines and budgets.
  • Multitask across multiple client accounts and projects under deadline, manage client timelines and budgets
  • Ensure that key milestones and projects are on track, within prescribed timelines and on budget
  • Display exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Brainstorming creative partnership and activation ideas for clients.
  • Work with the Assistant Account Executive on the creation, maintenance and timely distribution of editorial reports, press and budgetary tracking documents.
