Job description

This role requires strong product knowledge in crop inputs, seed, fertilizer, crop protection, livestock feed, and farm services, along with a commitment to growing the business through proactive sales and relationship management. Extensive travel would be required throughout the Central Plains Co-op territory including the areas of Eston, Landis, Plenty, Perdue, Harris and Rosetown.ย  ย 

Duties will include but not limited to:ย 

  • Working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal departments, the Sales Representative identifies customer needs,
  • Develop customized solutions, and delivers exceptional customer service
  • Active on farm relationship building
  • Assist with selling of all farming and commercial related products (i.e. crop inputs, grain bins, grain handling equipment, feed and livestock equipment, bulk petroleum, lumber and building supplies)
  • Complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Drive our relationship management process through development and execution of sales and marketing strategies
  • Follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships
  • Assist with member relations events and activities

Candidates must possess a positive ambitious attitude, be a team player, and have a valid Class 5 driver's license.ย  Previous sales experience and/or previous agriculture business experience will be considered an asset.ย ย
