Job description

Working as a team member in collecting, storing, counting, and recording of eggs on any given round. Houses must be clean and dry, while reporting any discrepancies to the farm foreman and assisting him/her in general maintenance and care of the farm. Farms have to have proper ventilation as set by the foreman. Dead birds have to be collected daily and properly disposed of. Crippled or Injured birds have to be euthanized properly.
Employees can't be scared of live chickens and /or roosters.
Reliable transportation to and from work with the physical ability to bend, stoop, squat, or kneel as well as being able to walk the length of the chicken houses several times a day. Candidate needs to understand importance of the Animal Welfare Program and be able to lift up to 40 pounds as well on occasion to push or pull 100 pounds. There is lots of standing and walking in farm work.
