Description

As a Wild Fork Team Member, you will support our E-Commerce business by fulfilling all orders, ensuring the correct products are picked, packed, and shipped within the customer’s expected delivery time.

Frozen is Fresher! At Wild Fork Foods, we believe that by controlling every step of the process from farm to fork. As a result, we ensure you get the highest quality, largest selection, and most consistent eating experience. We blast freeze our products at -40 °F to maintain peak freshness, reduce crystallization, and preserves the vitamins and minerals. This process is ten times faster than standard freezing for locked-in taste and tenderness in every bite.

Because all of our product is frozen, this means that you will work in a freezer and refrigerated spaces for most of your shift. Of course, it can be cold, but we’ll provide you with the right gear to stay warm!

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Pick and pack products to fulfill orders
  • Assists in ensuring all outgoing shipments of products meet company standards
  • Operate an electric pallet jack to transport product
  • Visually inspects product, follows proper procedures to reduce or eliminate product damage
  • Responsible for accurately receiving all perishable products from outside vendors and other storage facilities
  • Ensures accurate count and product specs and notifies appropriate personnel of unusual situations
  • Responsible for accurately rotating stock and maintaining the integrity of the product by ensuring it is in the proper temp environment
  • Helps clean and level pallets for inventory
  • Ensure orders are completed, loaded, and shipped that same day
  • Follows and reaches the KPIs of the business
  • Performs other related duties
  • Starting rate $19/hour

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Work in a cold environment with temperatures ranging from -0 degrees Fahrenheit and below
  • Lift and move items up to 50 pounds
  • Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
  • Regularly bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head
  • Have the personal strength and stamina to walk briskly for most of the day throughout the facility

Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED preferred not required
  • One year of Warehouse/Freezer experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task while being attentive to customers’ orders and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
  • Work with integrity as a TEAM toward a shared vision
