What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Farm Tech, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Farm Tech, you need practical knowledge of crop and livestock care, basic mechanical skills, and often a high school diploma or relevant agricultural training. Familiarity with farm machinery, irrigation systems, and sometimes precision agriculture tools like GPS or farm management software is typically required. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective teamwork are important soft skills in this role. What are some common challenges Farm Techs face when working with modern agricultural technology?

Farm Techs often encounter challenges such as troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, adapting to rapidly evolving technology, and ensuring data accuracy from sensors and automated systems.
