Summary:
The Farmhand plays a vital supporting role in the daily operations of the farm. This entry-level position assists with a wide range of farm tasks including planting, cultivating, harvesting, and maintaining crops and farm infrastructure. The Farmhand is expected to follow instructions closely, be willing to learn, and contribute to a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in agriculture, with opportunities to develop farming skills over time.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting crops
  • Help set up and maintain irrigation systems under supervision
  • Operate basic farm tools and machinery as directed
  • Monitor crop health and report signs of pests or disease
  • Perform general farm maintenance duties such as cleaning, equipment upkeep, and organizing supplies
  • Follow all safety procedures and work in accordance with farm protocols
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions as needed

Skills & Qualifications:
  • No prior experience required-training provided on the job
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to take direction and work independently or as part of a team
