Job description

Qualification:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time - will require walking on elevated platforms/walkways and uneven surfaces
  • Must be able to withstand varying outside temperatures
  • Must be able to push, lift pull 70+ lbs
  • Must be able to use all safety equipment
  • Previous industry experience preferred
  • Stable work history

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Work directly with cattle - receiving, unloading/loading, making sure counts are accurate, moving cattle in a humane manner
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while remaining calm
  • Cleaning cattle and work areas
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team
  • Prepare accurate paperwork
  • Ability to rotate to various jobs within the dept.
  • Must be able to operate forklift or other equipment used in dept
