Job description

MaxHealth has an immediate opening for a full-time Physical Therapist to work within our Physical Therapy practice located in Lakewood Ranch.
Starting pay at $43 per hour.
Location- State Road 70 E, Lakewood Ranch
Hours- 9:00am-5:30pm
The Physical Therapist will help patients improve their movement and manage their pain. They will provide treatment of patients with chronic conditions or injuries.
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose patients' dysfunctional movements by watching them stand or walk and by listening to their concerns.
  • Set up a physical therapy plan; outline the patient's goals and the planned treatments
  • Evaluate a patient's progress, modifying a treatment plan and trying new treatments as needed
  • Educate patients and their families about what to expect during recovery from injury and illness and how best to cope with what happens

Position Requirements:
  • Has a Physical Therapy Degree
  • Hold a valid license to practice physical therapy
  • Strong communication and customer service skills at all levels of interaction
  • Computer Skills (Preferably experience with EMR/EHR)
  • Ability to Multi-Task and prioritize while functioning well in a fast-paced environment
