Job description

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Seasonal Farm Equipment Operator to support crop production activities during planting, growing, and harvest seasons. This role operates farm equipment, performs daily equipment checks and basic maintenance, and assists with general farm labor as needed.

This is a seasonal position with significant overtime required during planting and harvest. Schedule flexibility is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate farm vehicles and specialized equipment, including GPS-guided systems, to support planting, cultivation, harvest, and other crop-production activities.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and service checks; assist with equipment setup, preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and basic repairs; and promptly report equipment service needs or safety concerns.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Farm department processes, equipment, and operating procedures, while completing required training and maintaining applicable certifications.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and company business goals.
