Position: Full-Time, On-Site


Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 7:00 AMโ€“3:00 PM, with occasional schedule adjustments as needed


Compensation: Based on experience


About the Position


We are hiring a dependable, hardworking Farm & Garden Hand for a full-time, on-site position in Jupiter, Florida. This position is intended for candidates who currently live in or within commuting distance of Jupiter and can reliably report to the property Monday through Friday at 7:00 AM.


You'll join an established team caring for a private property with vegetable gardens, fruit trees, a food forest, laying hens, a fish pond and grass areas. This is a hands-on position combining gardening, horticulture, farm care, grounds maintenance, property maintenance and light administrative responsibilities.


We're looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, stays organized and can recognize when something needs attention.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Tend to vegetable gardens, including planting, seeding, weeding, watering, fertilizing, harvesting and preparing garden beds
  • Maintain fruit trees and the food forest, including planting, pruning, mulching, fertilizing and harvesting
  • Care for laying hens, including feeding, watering, cleaning, collecting eggs and monitoring the flock
  • Mow and maintain grass areas and assist with general grounds and property maintenance
  • Maintain the fish pond, including pumps, filtration, vegetation and general cleanliness
  • Monitor irrigation, plant health, pests and growing conditions
  • Keep farm tools, lawn equipment, supplies and work areas clean and organized
  • Safely operate basic lawn and farm equipment and hand tools
  • Monitor inventory and order routine farm, garden and poultry supplies as needed
  • Prepare and email a weekly list of produce, eggs and other items available from the farm
  • Communicate farm needs, supply needs, maintenance concerns and other issues by email
  • Assist the team with seasonal gardening, horticulture and farm projects as needed

Local & On-Site Requirements


This is a 100% on-site position in Jupiter, Florida and cannot be performed remotely.


Candidates must currently live in or within reasonable commuting distance of Jupiter, have reliable transportation and be able to report to the property by 7:00 AM Monday through Friday.


Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available for this position.
