Job description

Join a dynamic farm operation as a Farmworker/Housekeeper Couple, where your combined energy and dedication will cultivate a thriving agricultural environment. This role emphasizes sustainable farming practices, animal husbandry, and smooth farm management, with shared responsibilities that include crop management, livestock care, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance. Your proactive, hands-on skills will be vital in supporting the farmโ€™s success, enhancing both productivity and the quality of life on-site. Housing and a vehicle will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for a motivated couple.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting crops using farm equipment and hand tools
  • Provide attentive care to livestock, including feeding, watering, grooming, and health monitoring
  • Manage animal husbandry tasks such as breeding, health checks, and safe animal handling
  • Operate heavy machinery, tractors, and other farm equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain irrigation systems to ensure consistent water distribution across fields and greenhouses
  • Support greenhouse operations including planting, pruning, transplanting, and horticultural management
