As a Security Officer - Train Fare Enforcement in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a government transit location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, report security-related concerns, assist passengers and staff, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding areas.
  • Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing visitors, and report unauthorized access, suspicious items, or concerning behavior according to site procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, observations, and interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
