Job description

We are looking for a talented Maintenance Specialist to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Morristown, TN.

Job Summary:

Performs skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.

    Expert knowledge of CNC machine geometry, precision alignment, leveling, spindle alignment, ball bar analysis, and laser calibration techniques.
    Ability to read and interpret machine mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, P&ID, and electrical diagrams.
    Advanced troubleshooting and repair of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, and forging equipment, including spindle systems, ball screws, linear guideways, tool changers, and rotary tables.
    Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits, proportional valves, pumps, pneumatic controls, centralized lubrication systems, and fault diagnosis.
    Proficiency in diagnosing CNC control systems (Siemens, FANUC, Mitsubishi, Okuma), servo drives, motors, PLC I/O, sensors, encoders, and industrial communication networks.
    Ability to troubleshoot Fanuc Robot and gas furnaces related issues.  

Base Rate:  $26.50 - $30.68/hr

Shift Premium:  $1.00/hr
