Job description

Job Title: Robot Engineer – FANUC
Location: Toledo, OH 43612
Position Type: Contract
Duration : 3+ Months Job Summary

We need roughly 7 Robot Programmers who are strong with FANUC for a project in Toledo, OH. They may spend a couple of weeks training at our shop in Wixom, MI.

Key Requirements
  • Strong FANUC robot programming experience.
  • Experience programming using General Motors (GM) GRS robot standard.
  • Actual recent work experience with the GM GRS robot standard is required; certification alone is not sufficient.
  • 2D iRVision experience is highly preferred.
  • 3DV experience is highly preferred.
  • Must be able to program from scratch.
  • Prior collaborative robot (Cobot) experience is highly desired.
Project Details
  • Most resources are expected to start in early to mid-October.
  • A couple of resources may start in late September for initial training.
  • Training may take place at the shop in Wixom, MI for a couple of weeks.
  • There will be no expenses for work completed in Wixom.
  • For work in Toledo, full expenses are not provided. A small mileage reimbursement of approximately $90/workday may be available and could be used for lodging if needed.
  • Resources are anticipated to be needed until mid-December.
  • A few resources will be needed to stay through the holidays for shutdown support.
  • This is a high-priority project.
