Job description

“Fun Is Good” is the Saints’ mantra. All Saints' staff work as a team to maintain CHS Field as a beautiful gem of the community. Welcome all guests with a consistent level of friendly, empathetic customer service as if they were guests in our home.
HealthPartners PowerUp Play Zone is located on the Centerfield Concourse of CHS Field. Play Zone interactive activities include a rock-climbing wall, bounce house, and fast pitch inflatable.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Welcome guests of all ages to CHS Field and Play Zone with positive energy and courteousness
• Have Fun working outside in the beautiful weather with our young guests and their families with professional behavior and a sense of humor
• Explain and organize Play Zone activities and accept payment
• Provide event information and general ballpark directions
• May be asked to assist with climbing wall safety harness and equipment
• Respond promptly to requests for assistance
• Help in maintaining a clean and organized Play Zone play area
• Assist with close of Play Zone area and check out with Fan Services Desk staff

REQUIREMENTS:
• Focused attention to safety with genuine interest and aptitude in working with kids
• Teacher, childcare, early childhood education experience enthusiastically welcomed
• Availability to work a minimum of 15 of the 75 home games
• Strong capacity to outwardly care about the well-being of others
• Positivity in communications with guests and staff
• Genuine enjoyment working in a team environment with a variety of people

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT:
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold and rain
• Standing on the concourse for extended periods, sometimes in a busy and noisy environment
• This is a seasonal, part-time position with expected pay $16.50 per hour
• Flexible scheduling includes nights, weekends and may include some holiday dates.
• Claiming shifts with consistency preferred and willing to work around your summer commitments.
• Report time is two hours before the start of the game with most Play Zone shifts averaging five hours - ending at the conclusion of the 7th or 8th inning.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: High school or above preferred
• Experience: Prior customer service, entertainment venue experience preferred
