Job description

SUMMARY:ย The New England Revolution Fan & Community Engagement Associate will support the marketing department by assisting with the daily functions and responsibilities. This position requires an individual with a personable but professional demeanor, who is confident in their abilities, detail-oriented, flexible and solutions-oriented and possesses strengths in the areas of time management, task organization/prioritization and customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Participate in the development and implementation of fan and community engagement goals and objectives
  2. On Revolution match days, assist with promotions and on-site events
  3. Work with fan and community engagement staff to initiate ideas, create, research, and execute promotions to showcase the club
  4. Support the execution of fan engagement promotions and events in the New England area
  5. Assist with Junior Revs membership database input, sending out new membership packets, and assist with the development of Junior Revs specific promotions
  6. Help manage inventory of marketing and autographed items
  7. Research and become familiar with other club and league wide initiatives to adopt and enhance the Revolution brand
  8. Special projects and assignments as business dictates

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma
  • Prior experience preferred which can be in the form of an internship
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented
  • Capable of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Possess a strong sense of creativity
  • Knowledge of and passion for the sport of soccer is preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to handle or feel.
  • The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
