Position Overview

Healing Springs Family & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our team in Fresno, California. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and maintaining appropriate boundaries.
  • Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess progress, discuss mental health stability, and prepare for discharge when clinically appropriate.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans to guide clients towards their therapeutic goals.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment changes to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate new clients and facilitate tailored treatment paths.
  • Engage in individual supervision sessions to support ongoing professional growth and clinical skill enhancement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and community resources to ensure comprehensive care delivery for clients.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, actively seeking opportunities to enhance therapeutic techniques and personal knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on adolescents and youth dealing with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role as a mental health clinician will be crucial in guiding these young individuals through their struggles, equipping them with the tools necessary to achieve personal and emotional resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet internal credentialing requirements within the clinical setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or populations dealing with substance abuse.
  • Proven skills in assessment, diagnosis, and providing both individual and group therapy.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication purposes.
Compensation and Benefits
