Job description

The Litigation Attorney will focus primarily in family law cases, providing expert legal counsel and representation within a small team environment. This role involves frequent court appearances and requires independence combined with periodic performance reviews. The attorney will be responsible for managing all phases of litigation from client consultation to trial preparation, ensuring effective case strategy and client advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand case details and provide legal advice
  • Draft pleadings and legal documents pertinent to family law cases
  • Represent clients in court during frequent court appearances
  • Negotiate settlements and manage case strategy to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Review legal documents and evidence to support case preparation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in litigation
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
