Job description

Scoular's IT Internship challenges you to focus on business enablement and ensuring we continue to evolve and modernize our technology. This internship will focus on technical projects and requires someone currently pursuing education beyond a bachelor's degree. Throughout the internship, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Assist in business analysis to identify and recommend opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and process capabilities
  • Design, develop and implement systems that achieve a set of goals
  • Research emerging technologies, trends, and benchmark data to make recommendations to improve customer experience, architecture, processes, and tools
  • Own and manage a project throughout the summer and present your experience, learning and recommendations to key leaders

We have multiple locations for IT Interns, in the interview process, you will be asked for your location preference between Omaha, Nebraska, Overland Park, Kansas and Minneapolis, Minnestoa.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree, ideally with coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics or Business Analytics
  • Curious problem solver who enjoys learning new technologies, asking questions and finding ways to improve how things work
  • Collaborative and adaptable, comfortable working with others, navigating ambiguity, and taking initiative to make an impact
  • Passionate about technology and innovation, with an interest in areas such as AI, automation, data, cybersecurity, digital solutions or software development, and a desire to understand how technology drives business success
  • Demonstrated leadership and initiative through academics, athletics, work experience, student organizations, volunteer activities or community involvement
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial, bringing fresh ideas, creative thinking and a passion for continuous improvement
