Job description

The Regional Fall Protection Manager is responsible for leading and growing Valcourt's fall protection business throughout the Southeast region. This position serves as the primary technical and commercial resource for fall protection opportunities while supporting regional sales representatives in identifying, estimating, proposing, and closing fall protection projects.The role requires a strong combination of sales leadership, technical knowledge, customer relationship management, estimating, and coordination with engineering, operations, manufacturers, and installation teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead fall protection sales and business development throughout the assigned region.Support and train regional sales representatives in identifying and developing fall protection opportunities.Conduct customer meetings and site assessments to determine fall protection and facade-access needs.Develop solutions involving rooftop anchors, guardrail systems, ladders, horizontal/vertical lifelines, davits, suspended-access equipment, skylight protection, crossovers, platforms, and other fall protection/access systems.Prepare budgets, estimates, proposals, scopes of work, and technical recommendations.Review architectural and structural drawings to assist in determining appropriate system concepts and attachment methods.Coordinate with engineering teams for system design, stamped drawings, calculations, testing requirements, and certification.Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors regarding product selection, pricing, lead times, technical requirements, and procurement.Support projects from initial opportunity through award and assist operations with turnover, installation coordination, customer communication, and issue resolution.Develop and maintain relationships with building owners, property managers, general contractors, roofing contractors, facility managers, engineers, consultants, and other industry partners.Manage and maintain an active sales pipeline and provide revenue forecasting and reporting to leadership.Assist with large, complex, or technically challenging opportunities throughout the region.Develop standardized sales processes, tools, training, and best practices to help scale the fall protection business.Maintain knowledge of applicable OSHA/ANSI requirements and industry standards affecting fall protection and facade-access systems.Serve as the primary internal resource for technical questions related to fall protection opportunities.Preferred Qualifications5+ years of experience in fall protection, construction, building-envelope services, industrial safety, roofing, facade access, or a related field.Proven business development and technical sales experience.Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.Understanding of fall protection systems, rooftop access, facade access, and applicable safety standards.Strong estimating, proposal-writing, and project-coordination skills.Experience working with engineers, contractors, manufacturers, and building owners.Ability to train and support sales representatives who do not directly report to the position.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous opportunities and projects simultaneously.Comfortable conducting rooftop/site assessments and traveling throughout the region. #J-18808-Ljbffr
