Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Carpenters for projects located in or around Tobaccoville, NC. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $24/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

  • Perform demolition using hand tools and power tools
  • Assist with site preparation and setting up barriers
  • Remove debris and maintain clean work areas
  • Perform basic carpentry and framing tasks
  • Patch drywall and repair wall openings
  • Pour grout and assist with concrete work
  • Assist in the assembly and installation of insulated metal panel (IMP) walls
  • Perform additional masonry and general construction duties as directed
  • Work from lifts up to 30 feet in height with fall protection provided

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Must have a current photo ID and present it upon entering the facility
  • Must have general construction, framing, and concrete knowledge
  • Must have basic hand tools
  • Must be comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet
