Manufacturing Overview:
We're always looking for ways to do things better, and that begins with engineering and manufacturing-it's the heart of all we do. Throughout North America, tens of thousands of production and support employees are producing component parts and assembling vehicles-and they're continually striving to improve not just our cars but everything we do. What you'll be doing:
As an Engineering Co-op at Toyota, you will gain new experience relation to your major, participate in a world-renowned production system, practice what you learn in class through hands-on applications, network with professionals in your field of interest, test drive a career and get a better grasp of your goals and interests, expand your technical skill and develop a confident, professional image. Co-op's will work on a variety of engineering assignments in one of the following groups: Assembly, Battery, Bodyweld, Conveyance, Paint, Plastics, Quality & Stamping. Projects can range from re-designing parts/components for improved manufacturability, targeting cost or defect reductions, improving machine efficiency, collecting and analyzing production data, analyzing/improving floor layouts, implementing safety checks and processes, among many other projects and responsibilities.

  • Toyota Motor Manufacturing Tennessee - Jackson, TN

What you bring:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Preferred 3.0 and above GPA
  • Must have completed at least one full academic year at a two- or four-year college or university post-high school (sophomore standing or above)
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited degree program (this includes both two-year and four-year colleges) studying in an Engineering discipline or related field, such as:
