FORVIA is looking for a year-round HR Intern for it's location in Simpsonville, KY.
Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Your profile and competencies to succeed
The role of the HR Apprentice/Intern is to support the HR Manager in the day-to-day HR management, in accordance with the Group's human resources policies and procedures, while obtaining real-life experience in a fast-paced HR team within a manufacturing/production environment.
Duties will vary, dependent on the educational goals and objectives of the apprentice & the needs of the organization.
In general, an HR apprentice/Intern can expect to:
  • Collect information and prepare reports in line with Group HR policies
  • Support all Personal files and Employee Administration and Documentations
  • Maintain employee files and answer employee queries.
  • Assist in tracking training data for all departments
  • Prepare HR correspondence and plant communications
  • Lead/participate in Employee engagement activities
  • Have Spanish speaking proficiency

Other HR initiatives as assigned by the Site HR Manager or Site Plant Manager.
Apprentice/Interns must be enrolled in an accredited 4 year College or University taking a minimum of 12 hours during the semester of employment or are part of an University credited Co-op or Intern program. All co - ops and interns must be eligible to work in the United States and do not require sponsorship.
Minimum of 2.8 GPA
