In our EMS RCM environment, strong payer relationships are essential because they directly influence revenue, cash flow, and collection outcomes, while also helping to create a smoother, more supportive experience for our patients.
As a Payor Management Lead in Revenue Cycle Management, your focus will be on keeping payer enrollment, portal access, and electronic billing processes accurate and current. You will help the business understand what is needed to keep payor connections working smoothly, where delays or issues may be building, and what actions are needed next across enrollments, updates, and requests. Your work will help support better reimbursement, cash flow, and overall revenue cycle performance, in line with Falck's RCM approach of helping payors, operations, and internal teams do the right thing. In a fast-moving EMS RCM environment, this work helps protect revenue, reduce administrative friction, and keep our teams focused on delivering care and supporting the people who depend on us.

Purpose of the Role
The Payor Management Lead supports Revenue Cycle Management by ensuring payer enrollments, portal access, electronic billing setup, and related payor processes are completed accurately and on time. This role helps keep revenue cycle operations running smoothly by reducing delays, supporting reimbursement, and maintaining strong compliance and payer connectivity.
A key part of the role is to serve as a reliable point of contact for payor-related requests, research new opportunities, and stay current on payer updates and requirements. This supports a more organized, responsive, and efficient RCM function, which is essential to protecting cash flow and collection outcomes.
In this role, you will
  • Manage payer enrollments, including Medicaid, Medicare, EFT/ERA, ACH, and EDI.
  • Serve as the administrator for payer and provider portals, including access, updates, security, and maintenance.
  • Complete scheduled enrollment activities and respond to ad hoc payer and operational requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain user reports, enrollment records, tracking logs, and supporting documentation.
  • Research new payer opportunities, tools, and vendor requirements.
  • Communicate with payors, vendors, and internal teams to resolve enrollment and portal issues.
  • Support related RCM operational needs, including cash support, EOB research, unclaimed property, charge updates, and closing activities.
  • Identify process improvements and escalate issues as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Falck's relationships with payors and operational partners.
