Your responsibilities
Job Summary
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System (QMS). Manage customer and vendor return processes, while serving as a key point of contact for customer quality-related inquiries and issues. Promote a culture of quality, support customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement of branch products, processes, and services.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities
  • Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Perform internal quality audits and support external audits (customer, registrar, and compliance audits).
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, complaints, and returns.
  • Investigate customer and vendor returns, including root cause analysis and resolution communication.
  • Communicate findings and corrective actions clearly to customers and stakeholders.
  • Lead or support root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
  • Document and track quality issues, audit results, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain visual management boards and quality documentation.
  • Work safely on warehouse floor around machinery and follow all safety protocols.

This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED (post-secondary education preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in quality systems or manufacturing
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100/AS9120
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Experience handling customer quality issues or complaints
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong safety mindset

Preferred Qualifications
  • Internal Auditor certification
  • ASQ CQE or Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Customer-facing quality experience
  • Manufacturing or distribution industry experience
